EDAP Announces New Ablatherm HIFU Site at Cleveland Clinic Canada in Toronto, Canada

LYON, France, Jun 29, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- EDAP TMS SA (Nasdaq:EDAP), the global leader in therapeutic ultrasound, announced today that Maple Leaf HIFU, the exclusive distributor of Ablatherm HIFU in Canada, is installing an Ablatherm device at their new medical office located at Cleveland Clinic Canada in Toronto. Patients with localized prostate cancer are now able to benefit from this minimally invasive HIFU procedure.
